Emilee strikes our funny bones once again. Just this evening on our way for a FHE treat (McD's ice cream cones), she told Sarah she had a spider on her head. When Sarah said, "No, I don't.", Emilee relpied, "December Fools!"
When Emilee, age 5, asked "What's that?"Sarah, age 7, said, "Mistletoe.". Emilee then asked, "Because it tickles toes?" :D The things that go through her head.
Last night we took the kids out to see the lights in our neighborhood. While driving around, Emilee, age 5, says, "That house doesn't have any lights. They must not know it's Christmas time." We got a good laugh.
When Emilee was asked why she did something sneaky to her sister today, she said, "I'm practicing." in reply to what was she practicing she stated, "For April Fool's." :D
On November 15th, our family went to Patrick's Aunt Kathleen's home in Springville, Utah to rake leaves. Unfortunately, Shayanne was sick on the couch and missed all the fun. Sarah and I had a ton of fun with a rickety old wheel barrow hauling a bunch of garbage bags out to the curb. (seen in back ground)
What I mean is that I feel so far behind the times with technology. Take this blog for instance. I don't know what the heck I'm doing or how to do it. I'll simply plod along like the fabled tortoise. I'll eventually get the hang of it, I'm sure. How do I know? Because I've finally mastered music downloads and the mp3 player on my cell phone! So, bare with me as I steadily work my way to the hare level when I'll be running circles around my tortoise self.
